IMPORTANT NOTICE!

Child support is now calculated under a new formula called "INCOME SHARES." This formula will only be used in cases and motions to modify filed AFTER January 1, 2007.  Child support is modified only as of the date a motion to establish child support or to modify an existing order is filed.  Read the new law and calculate your child support obligation according to the new statute (Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 518A.26).
